I MADONNARI

I Madonnari is an annual Italian Street Painting Festival held May 25 – 27 at the Old Mission Santa Barbara. Each day, street painters, like myself, transform the Mission Plaza into an art gallery of large-scale images. Artists design more than 150 vibrant scenes showcased on the pavement throughout the weekend. The event works as a fundraiser for the Children's Creative Project and is open to the public.
