Eden was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California, and is currently pursuing a BFA in painting as well as a minor in politics and policy at the Rhode Island School of Design. Through her work, Eden aims to explore American Consumer Culture, investigating her own consumer habits and how our current capitalist structure shapes identity by tying self-worth to material possessions and consumer choices. "I enjoy looking at advertisements, observing corporate trends, and following politics. I love observing how they contribute to the American social discourses, especially when it comes to social trends and discourses on social media." She continues to investigate these topics both formally, exploring materiality through oil painting, and academically through her continued liberal arts education.
