I am currently attending the Rhode Island School of Design, class of 2027, where I am pursuing a BFA in Painting and a minor in Politics and Policy. I have cultivated a practice in which I dissect the world and myself through color, scale, objects, and motifs. Through my more academic pursuits, I have studied economics, international relations, politics, power, and consumer culture. My current practice analyzes how social culture, identity, and institutions intersect and affect us individually, pulling from universal motifs, advertisements, current events, and personal references. Through my work, I aim to help my viewers cope through humour and irony with the increasingly saturated state of the media and the unpredictable nature of current American and global politics.
